         Hamlet is a modern day hero, because he treats everyone with respect and dignity.
"No such matter. I will not sort you with the rest of my servants; for, to speak to you like an honest man."
          Hamlet's courageousness is shown through many aspects. The mission that he was sent on, made him believe that he was not only sent to kill Claudius, but corruption as well. Hamlet was trying to rid the court of corrupted fools as it is part of  Hamlet scheme of purifying the court.

           Hamlet and Oedipus is alike in many ways, both of their fathers was killed. Even though Hamlet uncle killed his father, Oedipus own hands killed his father. Both set out to take revenge for the cruel act. Both men believed in higher Gods.  Both had issues, one was a madman and the other had mental disorder. At the end Hamlet lost his life and Oedipus lost his eyesight. If though it's not the same but they both lost something, that affected themselves and their family.

The United States and other countries are compared to Utopia because the worship of one God, even though their are multiply names that each culture acknowledge.

Dante's concept of Hell is considered the 9 circles of Hell. 1st: resided by virtuous non-Christians and unbaptized pagans who are punished with eternity in an inferior form of Heaven.
      2nd: resided with people that were overcome by lust.
      3rd: resided with gluttons who are overlooked by a worm-monster Cerberus
      4th: resided with people are punished for greed
      5th: resided wrathful and sullen are punished for their sins
      6th: heretics who are condemned to eternity in flaming tombs
      7th: this circle is divided into three rings
      8th: resided by the fraudulent
      9th: resided 4 rounds according to the seriousness of the sin though all residents are frozen in an icy lake.

Socrates shouldn't be in Hell. The reason for my decision is because he wasn't afraid of  death. Throughout the apology Socrates insists that death is not bad. As he says," The fear of death amounts simply  thinking one is wise when one is not." He came up with two ways that it might be: either death is to be nonexistent, or something happens to the soul upon death and it is transformed or goes to another world. So regardless of what I think may happen with Socrates soul he was afraid of death

Polygamy(having more than one wife) is allowed but limited in Islam.

Christians believe that God rests and sleeps, but Muslims believe that God doesn't need to rest nor sleep.

High government officials should lead by high ideals because that gives them the opportunity to collaborate with others in their party. Coming together as one deciding on issues that could affect the country takes more than just one person's view of the situation. If the government official or any higher power person went off of their personal example it become destructive. By me saying that it would only disable them to fully process the situation at hand, personal example could be if they had problems with a person or thing in the pass that would make the situation a bias choice.

Socrates believed that government worked best when ruled by individuals who had the greatest ability and knowledge.

Confucius believed that a leader needed to exercise self-discipline

in order to remain humble and treat his followers with compassions.

Basically a President should have some what of a sensitive side to understand what the peoples are going through and get a good understanding of the issues of the world and the President that showed great role was Mr. Barack Obama.

In most countries across the world like Syria, Palestine, and Israel and many other countries the war were either fought over land or religions. Most people believe that Christian character, moral, values and integrity are what keeps the peace. The world will always have work around God, I feel as though if everyone would mind their own business then the world would be a better place.

In my opinion there should be no wars breaking out amongst the United States and other countries. "The U.S. military and intelligence services have waged a prolific counterterrorism campaign to suppress threats to America. It is often argued that no longer scale plot has been successful in the U.S. since 9/11 that was the risk of such an attack is overblown."(Joscelyn).

The 9/11 attack left a lot of unanswered questions to this day why, and what may have triggered the outcome for the attackers to think about choosing the United States as being the target.

Post 12: Tragic Public Figure

Many look at celebrities as being a public figure or even someone in your community, but regardless of how that person is viewed it's always sad to hear bad news.

So we all remember the television show "Family Matters", the character Eddie Winslow. Where he was the oldest son of the Winslow and a very handsome young guy where the young ladies adored him. Well now in real life Darius McCrary as been accused of assaulting his wife claim's he's actually the victim in this case.

It's sad that a family that was once a happy family as too be torn apart due to violence.

Post 11: Tragic Narrative

In most cases people think as a tragic as losing someone. Where their spirit leaves their body and go to the other side as some people may call it. But as for me my tragic struck me at a young age of 7 years old. Growing up my father was very active in my life and a couple of days after Christmas of 1990 is when the tragic began.

My dad was arrested and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, and so my weekends was spent going into a prison to visit my dad and at time wasn't able to touch him just a glance of his face through a plastic glass window and to hear his voice through a phone. Praying every night that one day my day would be able to come home and we enjoy each others company like the good old days. Now all grown up and at the age of 35 years old and still long for that father and daughter moment with the set time to come and go and maybe one day leaving the prison with father right behind me.

You all might think how is this tragic, it's tragic to me because I have grown up listening to people talk negative and some positive about my dad and not able to really explain to others why he did the things that he did. One reason was to provide for his family and to make sure we had the things we needed, because others wasn't willing to give him a chance to get things the legit way so he proceeded to sell drugs. I continue too love my dad regardless of the road he took.

Post:10 Epic hero

Spider-Man is a fictional super hero, which I think is a modern epic hero. He uses his power to fight off evil after tragedy befalls his family. Spider-Man reacts quickly to danger because of his foes. As he transforms from a being Spider-Man to the lonely high-schooler "Peter Parker", he has no social life and clings to his home and family members, which only consists of his uncle and aunt.


Nurses are considered to be known as an epic hero in most people sight. They're considered as a profession placed to care for individuals, families, and the community. Their approach to caring for others are very unique, training to become a nurse is very important and detailed. Every nurse that I have come in contact with take their job very seriously and it becomes emotional a lot of time. Nurses consider their patients has a family member even though the patients don't go home with them it's just that bond that gets stronger throughout their stay.


With both of these heroes they're the same because of the passion they have within for caring for others and making sure that their well-being is their number one priority. The different is that Spider-Man leaps across the city with webs coming from the palm of his hands and wearing a costume and a mask to cover up his identity from the world. The nurses run through the hospital wearing scrubs and tennis shoes trying to save their patients lives and making sure that their comfortable and pain free.

A epic hero is defined as a character in an epic poem who is noble and brave and
is affected by great events or admired for his achievement.

Robin Hood in my eyes is considered as an epic hero. Known as an outlaw from Nottinghamshire, England robbed from the rich and gave it back to the poor made him an hero back in his time of day. Robin Hood was also considered to be a highly skilled archer and swordsman protecting friends and family while fighting off bad guys.

   Aristocratic courts love was a medieval European literary conception of love that emphasized nobility and chivalry. Eleanor of Aquitaine was queen to two kings. As for the Wife of Bath's where she married several different guys at different times. B/c they all had something different within that she enjoyed. Which in the aristocratic courts and the Wife of Bath's love was based on character and actions. Some of the aristocratic court romance was to an extent of sexual. There was plenty of contrast between the two that made you wonder what if.

In the song "Dance Like We're Making Love, the singer describes their body dancing in sync to each others heart beat. Lust always played a part in the story of The Wife of Bath's Tale and also any song that you listen to.

   Wife of Bath's approach to sexuality and romantic love is very modern....
      In this day of time many women marry multiple times until they come upon that right mate that has all of the character that they wish and long for. Women compare and contrast each mate that they have encountered. Longing for the right one to cast them away in the sunset. Finding that one that will satisfy her sexually, mentally, and financially is a must with every other women.

   Whatever happened to the women loving the man for himself and what they can offer without being interviewed a thousand and one questions..

In the Wife of Bath's she even went as far enough to trading sexual favors for gifts from her own husbands, now a days women do the same if their mad or just want to act like a baby.  If that special someone is not showing them any type of attention or affection, then they feel as though they can receive it from someone else.  Is it so wrong to compare your present mate with an past mate?

Post 4: Exploring Archetypes in Metamorphoses

  In the creation of Genesis, God created the heaven and earth. And also made Adam where he then took a rib from Adam to create woman where she was named Eve. Everything on earth was perfect in the eyes of God until Eve disobeyed his order and ate a fruit from the one tree in the Garden of Eden that was forbidden. Causing the God to place hurt and harm on every living thing on Earth, no more peace.

 The tradition of Pimas was created without anything light, water, earth just darkness. It took the God four tries to make the Earth perfect.

  Now in this time of day the world is filled hate and crime everywhere. Just wondering would it be this way if Eve would have just went to another tree and ate from it and not talked Adam into feasting from the tree at all. Is there an hidden agenda behind what everyone does this time of day.

  In literature, an archetypes is a typical character , an action or a situation that seems to represent such universal patterns of human nature.(Definition)

  Churches has practice communion for thousands of years, depending on different churches tradition. Communion uses the bread or cracker as a symbol for Jesus' body and wine or grape juice is the symbol for His blood.

  For me, I'm not nor is anyone obligated to partake in the ceremony of communion at church, but it also represent Jesus body. My church as the ceremony every 4th Sunday of the month and you can dress in all white, some members do and some don't. White is representing holiness and uniformity which wearing all white is purely a man-made custom. No one is turned away from partaking in communion if not dressed in white.

  It also reminds me that the Jesus has provided me with everything that I need and it also gives us the spiritual nourishment to keep taking steps to being closer to Him. This is my opinion and view of an archetype in the community or in my life.

        As far as the creation stories shape the way we see the world, Genesis in the Bible is a great prime example of it. As far as the book is concern the world was formed into being perfect without any flaws attached to it. But there is such things as disease, guilt, even death, and etc. And it develops as soon as Eve tempted Adam to eat from the tree which God had forbidden them to eat from. "After this act of disobedience Adam and Eve are in the real world."(Gascoigne,Bamber).

         We as humans are now playing characters on this Earth portraying the peoples in the Bible, just my opinion. We all have done something that we wasn't proud of  or we knew it wasn't right in the eyes of God. We are resigning in a world of sins and the only thing we can do is to repent and ask for forgiveness.

          So to conclude this, the creation stories shape the way we see the world as either we will live righteous or we will continue to go down the wrong path and hopefully find our way too being righteous before its to late.

WHAT IS LOVE?
       Love is something that unless ever felt is hard to describe to another. It's a craving for many, a person, animal or even for something that you couldn't do without. The feelings of love are so intense that you could have a certain idea in your mind of what you want, yet everything is lost once those intense feelings set in. It's an addiction that is totally natural, everyone was built to fall in love mother with their child and a person that meets another. Love means different things to different peoples making it difficult to describe.

       Some people are able to find  love faster than most and many become deterred looking for it and feeling as if it would never happen to them. Having faith that you would one day you will find love or love finding you is the best way to achieve it. You may never know your idea of perfection, but being open minded will allow you to find the other half of your soul.
