Aristocratic courts love was a medieval European literary conception of love that emphasized nobility and chivalry. Eleanor of Aquitaine was queen to two kings. As for the Wife of Bath's where she married several different guys at different times. B/c they all had something different within that she enjoyed. Which in the aristocratic courts and the Wife of Bath's love was based on character and actions. Some of the aristocratic court romance was to an extent of sexual. There was plenty of contrast between the two that made you wonder what if.

I agree with Kimberly, the aristocratic courts and The Wife of Bath have distinctive qualities. Both, have sexual aspects in them and they displayed in simalar ways. For instance, The wife in The Wife of Bath was very demanding and dominant - she always got what she wanted in sex. In aristocratic courts, if the man was sent to slay a dragon or go on a very dangerous quest, the woman would reward the man usually in sex.
